We have seen and enjoyed the first Capaldi episode. Nit pics exist, but at least we are out of the gate with a functional doctor and a more interesting relationship with Clara than the two making googly-eyes at each other. The theme has a structure that can be off-putting. Dont like it? Wait a half a season or so, and I can almost promise you that it too will regenerate. There are music changes from Eccleston to Tennant, a few during Tennants run, then more changes into and thru Smiths....point being; dont panic, the music also always changes and just like the Doctor the new arrangements will be familiar and yet different.
