We have to do whats right. The Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Federal Government negotiated a deal over a year ago. Now, months later, the details and the conditions of the agreement have drastically changed. The federal Minister who negotiated the original deal is not permitted to speak and the new Minister assigned to the file by the Prime Minister is someone who wasnt even involved in the negotiations. I stand firmly behind Premier Davis and our team. While no one wants another fight with Ottawa, we cant simply roll over and accept a broken promise and blatant disrespect. The future of our fishery is too important. #NLpoli #cdnpoli
