We headed out of the Days Inn this morning going south. We went to Matecumbe Key. I did a small beach and we moved on. We drive north to Upper Matecumbe Key where I trekked my last mile. I found an entrance to the beach through a private property and made my way to the beach. It was overcast, windy and deserted. A perfect gift of a last beach mile for me. Sean then walked his last 300 yards on Islamorado Key. At the end of Seans walk there was a wedding set up for later, he walked down the aisle. We wrapped the project at 10 am. I am home now but will be going back to South Beach next week for the Final Mile celebration. I will report in from there.
