We just finished watching the W5 episode on CSOR - Canadian Special Operations Regiment and it is well worth the time for Canadians to see so that they can learn a little bit more about our SOF. One thing they showed and I wish would be brought to light a little bit more is that the soldiers CSOR were training in Niger were mostly Muslim. I think its about time the government and the news started extending the olive branch to the Muslim communities so that they know we as soldiers arent waging a holy war on Muslim nations. The surprised look I get when I tell the Muslims at school that we had at least two prominent Muslim nations as allies overseas (I cant say who because of OPSEC) along with training the ANA and ANP is enough to know that enough isnt being said. BZ to our troops overseas doing all the secret stuff so that we can all sleep safely in our beds tonight.
