We need help. There are times I am ashamed of our generation, but it is not just us. Electronics are overtaking the nation. On the topic of social media, I love what this guy has to say! As I post this on (anti)social media.. What if we all decided to look around and take in the world that surrounds us? There is so much beauty that never gets a chance to shine. I am living and raising a family in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, yet when I come home from work (staring at a screen all day), the average evening consists of turning on the tv and getting on the computer for at least an hour or two of that precious time. I am holding my 3 week old daughter right now and instead of staring at her and memorizing these moments, Im scrolling through Facebook on my phone. That is sickening when you think about it. We are becoming sheep. Lets do something about that. I dont want to be known as part of the generation that took this country down. Picking our heads up and paying attention is a good start.
