We pray for traveling mercies for the 350+ women who are on their way to Charlotte today to serve as delegates to the Ninth Triennial Convention. We offer thanks as the 2011-2014 triennium executive board comes together this morning for its final meeting. As the staff embarks on a challenging week of duties, we pray that they may be patient, strong and filled with good humor. We invite the Holy Spirit to enliven the work of the convention so that we may more fully live out the mission and purpose of this organization. God, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
