We see cases of heatstroke every year due to dogs being left in a hot car. Some of them are lucky and survive, but many die a terrible death and leave behind a devastated family. Please, please leave your dogs at home. Cracking the window is not enough. Temperatures in a parked car will soar within minutes. In the story below, the outside temperature was only 60 degrees, but inside the car was 104! We cannot emphasize this enough, dogs should NEVER be left in a parked car.
