We support a charity, seeds of hope, which gives children in Uganda an opportunity to go to school, to be cared for, to be fed daily, clothing and supported. We have two little girls whom we have taken responsibility for, and its lovely to see photographs of them in their school uniforms. Goodness only knows what they would end up doing otherwise... Possibly think of the worst thing that could happen to an orphaned young girl and youd be pretty much spot on...their mum had a brain tumour and couldnt see, she wanted them saved from being abandoned before she died. We are not sure if she has passed away to date.... There you go, a sad story to start your day... But we have heard there are six more children who we need to find sponsors for. Its not a great deal of money to think you can save a childs life but it is if you are asked directly to pay it... Around £130-£140 per year per child. So if any group/company/ family group would be interested in learning more please get in touch! Cant help at that level, we totally understand, but next time you are in Creepy Crawlies and you see the pink wooden boxes selling pre packed sweets, the collection tin beside them is for this charity. Every single penny can help to make a difference! We are trying to think of a plan to raise £1k to maybe sort out the problem ... We are looking for ideas!?
