We wanted to share a great TripAdvisor review we were so delighted to receive yesterday: “Westin and its surroundings ...... WOW!” We checked in to the hotel and Calvin at the front desk was very accommodating. The lobby was very pretty and gave you a feeling that you were at the right place. When you reserve a room make sure you request the corner room, I think they call it the king. Awesome views of the area. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE. The bathroom had both a shower and a tub. The marble lined bathroom gave it a very rich feel. One of the key reasons to stay at this hotel is the town center area that this hotel is a part of. There are major restaurants and family owned ones really gave you many choices. my wife and I had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and had the best service from Dave (from Baltimore) he was fantastic! You must ask for him! It will be worth your while. For breakfast we ate at Simply Fresh Cafe and Market a small family owned restaurant that has inexpensive HOME made breakfast. Back at the hotel, I can honestly tell you that every person that works at this Westin are very friendly and made you feel welcomed there. One thing that was a bit odd was the parking. You actually park in the public parking lot attached to the hotel. Good news there though....FREE parking. As I have written before, I am not a big traveler, but this hotel and the town center were more than what we expected. The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center and Town Center of Virginia Beach....a winner! Thank you for the great comments Kevin B.! We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
