We would like to keep you informed of some changes that will take place with our page. We have decided to seperate ourselves, from Justice for Claras Facebook page. Our mission is being confused with the Justice page. We have turned over our page to the President and director of the Good Shepherd Humane Society of Georgia. The Good Shepherd is a non-profit animal rescue group based out of Coweta County, Ga. Saving the lives of dogs/puppies/cats/kittens who face being euthanized in kill shelters, have been surrendered by their owners, for over 20 years. Ms. West, has a wonderful group of individuals who volunteer their time to saving Gods creatures. Recently, The Good Shepherd Humane Society, was the leader in the Griffin, Ga Hoarding Situation. With the help of several volunteers, that without them the animals would have been seized by court order and PTS at the Spaulding County Shelter. We fought for each and every animal on the property, when the complainant just wanted to see the animals removed. The Good Shepherd Humane Society, is at full capacity at this time and unable to take in any more animals without foster families willing to help provide a safe and loving home environment while our rescues wait for a forever home. We will provide food, medical care, and every animal will be fully vetted, spay/neutered while they are in foster care. Every foster family will be subject to a home check as part of our guidelines. If you are interested in being a foster for either a dog or cat please let us know and we will contact you. We are looking forward to saving as many lives as we can. If you have any questions, regarding any animals for adoption on our page, we can send you and pre-adopt questionnaire. Please feel free to contact the Good Shepherd Humane Society 10 Dover Sq Sharpsburg, Ga 30277 1-(770)-463-5513
