Weather Update: NWS in Peachtree City has issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of North Georgia – including Dawson County - from Wednesday Morning through Friday Morning. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are likely over the watch area, with localized higher amounts possible. Portions of North Georgia are primed for Flash Flooding, especially in areas of steeper terrain. Please monitor your local weather stations and social media for later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
