Weekend catchup: Day 23: Today Im thankful for a pretty strong work ethic as well as the ability to always find work. I find random jobs randomly and its almost always worked out-even when its seemed kinda sketch. Even when I have 2 jobs, Im always looking for another way to make money (legally:)) because of that I can always depend on me to take care of me. Even when I cant depend on other people. Day 24: Today Im thankful for the fact that I follow my instincts. Some of my best teaching and strongest student work has come not from teaching from my lesson plan but from last minute ideas. Sometimes following my instincts brings out the best in me and my kids (btw both of their biographies were awesome-UWS here we come). Day 25: Today Im thankful for a 2 day work week. This whole having a grownup job gets to be a bit much sometimes. Im thankful for the chance to rest and recharge-even if I dont plan on sitting still!
