Weird trip to Value Village. i buy a good percentage of my canvas there-other peoples paintings to paint over-and any other time I would have walked out on air today with 5 canvases for under 30 bucks total that would have gone for over 200 dollars retail. Four of them were big, 30x40 or larger-the size I like to paint in-and a 12X12. Today, I only walked out walked out with the small one, and felt a bit funny over the 4 bucks I spent on that. As much as the money, the simple fact that my future whereabouts are still unknown with any degree of certainty made the large ones impractical right now, not to mention irresponsible. Ive found-in my short time as a grown up-that making good decisions usually leads to feeling good. Not this time. Meh.
