Welcome Atturo & Ronnie Faisst to #ShortCourse Atturo Tire enters the racing scene with a sponsorship of the Hunter Racing team in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series for 2014. Hunter Racing will compete in the Pro Lite class of the Lucas Oil Off Road series with drivers Eric Hunter and Ronnie Faisst. Atturo will also be a contingency sponsor for the full Lucas Oil Off Road professional and regional race series. Short course off road racing is one of the fastest growing motorsports programs in the country. The combination of high horsepower, big jumps and door to door racing all at a fan friendly track viewable from the grandstand. The Lucas Oil series is one of the premier programs for short course off road racing. The schedule includes eight race weekends with television broadcast on Mav TV, CBS and CBS Sports Network. There will be over one hundred fifty two hours of TV coverage for the 2014 series. Atturo will field the Trail Blade M/T featuring the knife blade inspired tread design to showcase the strength and high level of traction this design affords. Atturo will focus on the Pro Lite class in the Lucas series. Michael Mathis with Atturo explains, The Pro Lite class is our choice because they require DOT tires. The Trail Blade M/T on the Hunter Racing truck is the exact same tire we sell every day. We believe that great tires do not have to cost a lot of money. This will be an excellent venue to prove how the Atturo Trail Blade M/T keeps performance within reach. Hunter Racing is competing in the Lucas Off Road Series for the third year. Driver Eric Hunter started in the Superlite class before stepping up to Pro Lite in 2013. Eric already has a podium and several top ten finishes in the series. Eric is loving the Atturos and explains, The short course track is a pretty harsh environment for a tire. The Trail Blade really performs great with the sidewall tread blades giving excellent lateral grip out of the corners as the truck rotates around. Eric will drive in the full professional series as well as select regional events. Hunter Racings second driver is new to short course off road, but not new to the dirt. Ronnie Faisst is a multiple medal winner in the X-Games and professional freestyle motocross rider. Fiasst has played a major part in nearly every action sports tour to span the globe. Three years in Tony Hawks Boom Boom Huck Jam tour, multiple Vans Warped Tours, MTVs Sports and Music Festival, the Dew Tour, Crusty Demons of Dirt World Tour and most recently the first of its kind Nuclear Cowboyz tour. The adventure continues for Ronnie once the Nuclear Cowboyz tour ends, he will join Hunter Racing on the Lucas Oil professional series. Atturo Tire is also participating as a contingency sponsor in the Lucas Oil Off Road professional and regional series. In addition to the eight professional race events, Lucas Oil Off Road presents regional race series in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. Drivers who win on Atturo in any of these events will qualify to receive free tires to continue their season with Atturo. The first race of the season is March 22-23 at Wild Horse Motorsports Park in Chandler, AZ.
