Welcome to 2015 IORC supporters! We are all set with our New Years resolution: To pass a cottage food law! If your resolution is to eat more locally produced food or to support local businesses then we can help you achieve your goal as well. Sign up today as an IORC member, or make a donation to our cottage food campaign, and help us organize statewide to pass the Idaho Cottage Food Act. A Cottage Food Act will: -Increase the availability of locally produced food -Support small business owners and create jobs and strong local economies -Protect public health by setting food safety standards and certification requirements -Allow in-home processing of some pretty great snacks in case you decide to fudge a little on your New Year’s diet -Your membership or donation goes toward IORC’s grassroots campaign to support local producers and to grow the local food movement in Idaho.
