Welcome to the Sunday Strollers club! We have designed this club to encourage and motivate people of all ages and fitness levels to meet up on a regular basis to have fun, make new friends and get fit. I have a great passion for walking after signing up and training for the Speyside Kiltwalk two years ago. Meeting up every week with friends in all weathers, we talked and walked the miles away! Not only did I get fit and toned in the process, it was also a fantastic stress release and natural happy pill. The club will meet every Sunday at 10am-1pm depending on distance and routes we cover. The routes will be different every week to keep you from getting bored and will be posted every Monday so you know where we will be heading. Our aim will be to start off with small walks, building up to distances between 8-12 miles every week. We will also be introducing a monthly hill walk to build stamina and endurance and eventually aim to do a big hill towards the end of the year! The idea of the club is so you can dip in and out as you please, you dont have to commit every week. The club is completely free, its simply about improving our fitness, meeting new friends and enjoying the beautiful countryside!
