Well Dad, This is hard to believe, but a whole year has passed since the time you left. And as though in sympathetic concordance, the very weather reflected the sorrow of that day last year, as Toronto was hit with the huge flood soon after your passing. On my way home from work today the radio reflected on this day 1 year ago with awe, as if to redundantly remind of the events that transpired. Your departure shook myself and your family, as it did the very concrete roads of Toronto that day, fracturing in the wake of your retirement from this place. I love you with all my heart dad, and i preserve your memory as inspiration for all that i do. I hope that, (and know that) you have found peace in your new existence, and i look forward to when next we meet.
