Well, I have yet another phone. As many of you know, I drowned my brand new waterproof samsung S5 active phone a few weeks ago (the employee didnt put the case on correctly so water was able to get in it). After being told SEVERAL times that the manager of the local AT&T store (franchise) on State Street would get back with us, he never did. Today, someone in the store was finally able to get in touch with him and he said that there was no way to prove that it was the error of his employee. He did (after Jason called him) offer to trade in for a discontinued lower level Samsung phone. We took the deal but are still very unhappy with how things transpired...especially since I was basically called a liar and had no response from the manager. So...I recommend that you deal with one of the main stores as opposed to a franchise operator. Lesson learned. Yes, as soon as our AT&T contract is up, I will be switching to Verizon. It would have cost me over $700 to get out of our current deal. This has been going on for a month.
