Well...Jared Allen is now a Chicago Bear. He signed a 4 year $32M contract, that is voided down to 3 years and $24M and $15.5M guaranteed. I dont understand the voided part, but he is now a Chicago Bear and will be trying to chase down Matt Cassel and Adrian Peterson lol. Interestingly Alan Page, another Viking great, left Minnesota in 1978 and played for the Bears until 1981! Im so glad, that as a huge Viking fan, I got to see him play last year in London! He had a great game and made the sack that caused Ben R. to fumble, and the Vikings recovered it, deep in Viking territory with just seconds left in the game! He will be missed! I sure thought he was Seattle bound but, he replaced Peppers in Chicago. He did say he wants to sign a 1 day contract with the Vikings, when he does retire, so he can retire as a Viking! He will be back...lol
