Well after 18 years it seems the production team at Musicfest has finally got it right in terms of band changeover. The switch from band to band artiste to artiste was short and efficient. Kudos . My review I got there late so I missed half the show. I reached just in time to see the last part of Taurus and even the 15 mins exceeded any performance Ive seen thus far for the Fest. Taurus was fantastic. As I expected Beenie man like Machel montano the night before was very ordinary. I maintained from day one that Beenie mans performance fee wouldve been better served getting anothe act or getting a few more local acts on the show. Beenie Man brought nothing that we havent seen before Capelton in my view was very good. Not awesome but good. I think he stayed on the stage too long and that may have diminished his overal performance. The biggest complaint by everyone was the placement of chronixx so early in the line up. Chronixx was the most anticipated act , probably for the whole festival and there were hundreds maybe thousands who did not see him perform as by 9:17 he was on the stage. Thats way to early for Such an anticipated act like chronixx. I have no clue how our local acts performed and neither have I gotten any feedback from persons who saw them. The hosts did a superb job
