Well, after the first of the year, under the guise of helping the lowest income earners, the state of Ohio will get a $30 million increase in tax revenue. The people who unfortunately make more than minimum wage will experience a decrease in buying power as the prices of pizzas and big macs will increase to offset the increased cost of payroll for those business owners. And guess what, the folks who get the increase will not see additional buying power because of the increase in prices mentioned above. The only sector to win with a minimum wage increase is the government. Local, State, and Federal...increase in tax income without raising taxes!! Thanks for the decrease in my families ability to put more into the economy.
