Well, another letter arrived from the Social Security Administration today. In addition to the Medicare Part B Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) of $52 a month for having additional income (the pension and IRA I WORKED for and saved), an additional Prescription Drug Coverage Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount of $12.30 will be assessed (even though I dont have Part D, the Medicare drug plan). I pay about $60 a month for a private drug plan, but now have to pay a surcharge for something I dont even use. I just deleted two vitriolic sentences on my feelings on the Affordable Care Act and the scumbags that passed it and my wishes for their future..... Im really not feeling too charitable after getting this letter and will be cutting back on some charity donations I usually make this time of year; Im donating to the charity of Bob..........
