Well, due to the invasion of the virus from hell..my entire past weekend plans were derailed. Friday I missed celebrating the life and death of one of my oldest and dearest friends beautiful mother.. Sandy, I love you and we will toast to the stars when you get back home. On Saturday I missed a day of debauchery and shenanigans with one of my bestest Kristin Schildmeyer. Meghan, I am sorry I missed you this trip but I swear a hurricane wont stop me next time! I am sure you will be nursing your liver for the next week or so and I am soo jealous :) Today, I woke up refreshed and somewhat enlightened. I am ridding myself of stress..done with trying to keep anyone in my circle who obviously doesnt want to be there. I will listen to the forewarnings next time.. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck... I am looking forward to tonight, a relatively mild work schedule (vacation hours..woo hoo) and a weekend packed with some of the absolutely best people in this world. Thankful for what I have right here, right now..thankful for my beautiful family, incredible friends and working in a career I love. (Sidenote of more gratitude) To my UC peeps, thanks for the recent nomination..means a lot to me!!
