Well folks if you havent read the local papers I encourage you to do so.... Both papers are reporting the abolishment of the BRFPD as we know it.... Now they claim its a budget issue so that would imply that the overall budget should go down right? WRONG they will just reallocate the money to something else??? Whats next then EMS saving $$$..... This is a matter of priority and evidently the priority isnt on safety and service.... Now Im not criticising the Sheriffs Department in anyway...but how thin do they expect to be???? Now is the time for you to stand and be heard!!! At a minimum lets take this to a referendum so the voters can be heard not just the decision of one or two men.... Please come to the meeting tonight and demand to be told the truth..... God Bless each and everyone of you! Tom Cooper
