Well folks, it seems that when being in SSCS, you have to have an absolute belief in everything that SSCS opposes. The same goes for certain people in this group in regards to whaling. There are members here who question my stance on the Japanese collecting dolphins for entertainment purposes in marine parks. I am against this practice. I choose not to support any marine park that uses cetaceans for entertainment. I dont protest or seek to disrupt their pursuits of business. I simply choose not to involve myself, time and money in such ventures and practices. I do not agree how SSCS behaves in Japan. I wish that the Japanese authorities would ban them from their country and allow their whaling ships to defend themselves from their attacks. Having researched the issue of whaling in the Faroes, I can see how the Faroese have kept the harvest going sustainably, and have adapted their killing practices to be more humane over the years. Faroese culture values animal welfare over a dollar value. Thats hard to find in this world. So, yes, I am biased in favor of the Faroese whaling practices but not those of the Japanese. To some, that makes me seem like SSCS, so you can believe what you want to. I am leaving this group. The absolute all or nothing attitude is something that I despise. I value those to whom I have gotten to know, and ask them to stay in touch via private messages. Enjoy yourselves and look forward to watching how people deal directly with these pirates and terrorists. This is not an end, only a change! Neil
