Well it is official: I can walk on water!!!! The snow is so hard you can walk right on top of it. I just made a path for my dog (a very little one mind you) as each shovel full probably weighs six pounds or more. I fed the birds and the bread just stays on top of the crunchy snow. I measured on the deck and it was just shy of 7 inches - what is bad is it has about an inch of ice on top of it. It is going to take me forever to get this mess cleaned up. Can only do so much then have to stop to catch my breath and relieve this darn back of mine. (Hopefully a snow angel (with shovel) will come to my rescue.)
