Well, its been a record night of rain here in the desert. Its 8:00am and since midnight we have accumulated 4 to 6 in of the wet stuff and that is normal amounts for a year in some areas. Three of our interstate highways are closed in several places because they have turned into lakes. The C.A.P. canals have also flooded, contaminating them. A high percentage of schools have closed due to flooding. Those whove lived here all their lives have never seen it this bad and we are not out of the woods yet because we have the rest of the day and thru the night before its over.
