Well, looks like bad news keep coming in. I have more than one reason to believe that about 10K likes on this page are fake and were bought by someone. Stats dont lie. Remember when I posted the image about what would have happened if we would have reached a certain goal before last sunday? Well, in that week-.span, the page gained about 11K likes. 10K of which were made in two days only. We were averaging 300 likes per day before the boom and 300 likes right after the boom (crossover shares and giveaway effect). Theres no way we could have made that many likes in two days only. I documented myself and I found out that when you buy likes, they are usually conveyed to the page in about two days. A week after this likes storm, facebook was showing that PP was most popular guess where? Mexico City, a city very well known to be a like farmer. It takes facebook about a week to render that data and show it on the likes tab of a page. A week and two days after, the city was Rome, Italy again. This leads me to believe we didnt make those 10K. Anyone can actually buy likes for a page, it does not have to be the owner/administrator. Are you wondering why and who should have done this? I have no idea. I know that the post engagement has been dropping since (you know how pages post reach work, and having 10K fake people liking it will make it drop even more, percentage wise). And so I am thinking about making a new page. Id prefer having 500 true supporters than 10K fake ones. Also, Id probably love a more informal page, instead of pretending to be professional. Suggestions? Thoughts? Thanks guys.
