Well, my last night at Tanners post sparked a lot of questions so I want to take a moment to announce my big news. I have accepted a job transfer and will be relocating to the Kansas City area to run a store in Smithville, Missouri. I moved to Omaha TEN years ago, kicking and screaming the entire way, but in the past decade it has become HOME. I will forever be a Chicago girl at heart, but the life I have made here is a very blessed one. I have found happiness, health, love and success here and the friends I have made I call FAMILY. It has been a bittersweet decision, but I just cant pass on the opportunity to move closer to my brother, Keith, and his family. I spend many a weekend traveling to and from KC to spend quality time with my nieces and I feel very blessed to have this chance to live closer to them. Choosing to relocate is never easy, but my niece Addie made the decision simpler when she hugged me last Saturday and said Im so happy youre going to be here ALWAYS, Aunt Jill. ♡ Many more details to follow... but in the meantime, please keep me in your prayers as I make this big transition. I know the tears shed with close friends the past couple days are just the beginning, but I also believe in my heart that God knows this is what is best for me at this time in my life. My official move date is Dec 7th, so I still have a couple of weeks to say my good-byes and make a couple more unforgettable Omaha memories ♡
