Perhaps we need, as KIm Beasley once said, and I totally agree with him, we need a proper Coast Guard service with high speed catamaran patrol boats to patrol and defend our borders. And we could make them here in Tasmania. A great shipyard ready to do the job with properly paid Australian union workers, not foreign low-paid non-union slaves. Turn the boats around? What a joke!
