Well now the dust has settled and the rubber cooled down wed like to send our gratitude and appreciation to the team and organisers of RS Combe yet again in our eyes it was a fun packed filled day, Ok the weather started of poorly but by mid morning it had past and the track action picked up with a good selection cars out of most of the day, then at lunchtime we were proud to be able to honour two members from the community with a slow memorial lap this was followed by the traditional parade lap then the drifters put on a superb show for all the crowd to enjoy. In the afternoon the sun made an appearance and I know there was a few slightly burnt faces at the end of the day lol, this year we showcased a selection of cars from our stock which seemed to have went down really well its just a shame we couldnt bring them all, Mater the truck went down really well and we cant thank Matt enough for brining it over and not charging for the day as all proceeds from the show go to Cancer UK, at the end of the show we were extremely proud to present a cheque for £2,000 to Cancer Research UK from the proceeds of Ian Turners RS sale who sadly passed away early this year. (hope we done you proud Ian) So 2014 is done and we very much hope so that we get asked again in 2015 to become sponsors, Combe is our local circuit and the show to us is very special as its great to support a event thats pure purpose is to join car fans for a great day out and the whole day is a non profit making event which makes it even extra special, once again from the whole team at RS Direct wed like to thank you for you hospitality..
