Well, the past two days have been eventful. Our pastors wife, Margaret, had a blood vessel burst behind her eye. She went to the hospital and spent the night with packing in her nose that I know had to be extremely painful. She got it removed today and they cauterized the blood vessel, leaving dissolvable packing in there now that is much more comfortable. She gave us a scare! Then, this morning sometime, one of my favorite women in this old world had a stroke and things dont look good. Over the past 30 something years, Ive called her Mama Bayne or Granny Bayne and she is just precious. For those of you who went to school at Sardis in the 1970s, she worked in the lunchroom with Clare Hames, Mother. She was a sweet lady then and always has been a Christian influence in my life. Louise Bayne is one of the most humble people I know. Please pray that she doesnt suffer and please pray for her family, both biological and church, not to mention friends. God bless.
