Well this isnt my first holiday away from family... But there is always that small part of me that does miss the quality time... I especially wish things could be like they were in the 90s. The smell of fresh pine, baked pies and good home cooked food filling the house almost 2 days before Christmas Day. Dozens of family members and friends swarming the house sharing laughter, curse words and hugs! Its a shame how we all become so involved with ourselves and our immediate family we almost forget about everyone else. But times have changed and weve all grown older. So I wish everyone friends and family an amazing Christmas and hope your day is filled with joy, cheer, and love!!
