Well, today didnt start like I had hoped. As I was on my way to Christy Montgerards house my car died. Sitting at the stop light of Rocky River Rd and Secrest Short Cut my car decided to completely die. As I sat there waiting on my prince charming, Barrett Barbee to come and rescue me, I noticed all the people thatpassed by. There had to have been fifty cars go by. Most of them were disscusted that someone had broke down on a Monday and making them late. Others did not pay attention and sat right behind me. I had to wave my arm out of the window to get their attention. Some stoped texting or talking on theirphone long enough to go around and look at me. Out of the fifty plus cars three people stopped. One gentalmen asked if I was okay and I told him my husband was on his way. I told him thank you. Right before Barret arrived two nice men stopped to help me push my car to the side. I am very thankful to those who choose to take time out of their busy Monday morning to help me. I know that God is going to use this to teach me something. I do know that Im never too busy to reach out to someone in need. Even if you just stop and ask if theyre ok. That will mean so much. So I challenge you today to not think of the busy Monday and all the things that has to be done for the wolrd, but to stop and look at all thethings that need to be done for God.
