Well what a great night the annual Taurus Gym Christmas Party and Awards Night was ! Thank you to all the members old and new who came. And for everyone making an effort in the fancy dress stakes ! There were some awesome outfits :-) The first year at the new premises (which now look n smell like a brewery !) has been a superb one. 3 new champions trained at Taurus Gym and a total of 21 wins 7 losses and a draw. Which is as much due to the fantastic team i have at the gym and the hard work and effort put in by you all as well as myself. Special thanks must go to all the assistant coaches at the gym, Becky Martyn, Aaeiron Orme, Greg Reeves, Ro Allen, Clint Simson, Nassim Sellam and Darren Cooper. Along with our Jiu Jitsu coaches Danny Macmillan and Shaune Patrick White, our boxing coach Chris Rab Butler, BoxFit instructor Tracy Counter and our recent addition our Yoga instructor Emily Stewart. Hopefully every member at Taurus is as proud and happy to be a part of what we have built up as i am. Roll on 2015 ! I am very proud to have you all on board :-) Prize winners were.... Muay Thai/K1, Fighter of the Year, Bryn Cooper MMA, Fighter of the Year, Aaeiron Orme Best KO of the Year, Kyle Fowler Rickman Best Submission of the Year, Stephan Jones New Most Improved 2014, Zachary Sheridan Best Fancy Dress, Ben Claassen BoxFit winners were Traci Watson, Katherine Chown and Simon Oog Ough.
