Well yesterday I posted about my gig at the North Hill Country Club and forgot to elaborate a little more on the gig. I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with veteran sax player Mr. Mark Mecca. The gig was supposed to also feature a female vocalist from the Philadelphia area but at 8:30 am I received a text telling me her husband passed away unexpectedly. Naturally our song list was female heavy and we were scrambling. At 9am we had to now replace 20 female songs with 20 male songs. After calling Mark about the situation he stepped up ,while at his wifes parents in Ardmore, and came up with songs that he could sing and I went to work on the computer to create the song files while he worked on obtaining chords and lyrics for them.
