Went out in the kayak with Matt this morning. At around 6am, my favorite fishing rod was ripped out of the rod holder by what would have been a very big fish, and I could only watch in devastation as it disappeared into the bay. 4 hours passed and 5 fish over 40cm were caught (the 2 biggest shown here), I reel in an empty bait on my spare rod only to find a different hook with a line hanging onto it. As I reel it in, I see my rod coming to the surface! Talk about luck! Came in this arvo and had a good feed. Unfortunately I didnt have time to buy a lottery ticket but its safe to say I was very lucky! Next trip is on Tuesday or Wednesday up at falls creek, hopefully Ill have some happy snaps when I get back! Happy Sunday!
