Went up to the lake yesterday with Dan and spent the day with my Dad and step mom and their friend Jon. Dan brought two of his planes that can take off from and land in the water, so he was quite the star of the show :) Perfect take offs and only 1 minor crash into the floating dock necessitating a boat retrieval lol. I got to snuggle with their itty bitty dog Miss B., and even got to pet Bob their hemingway bobcat, a few times before he got irritated that a mere human wanted to play with him. Bob is a big ass bobcat! He was chipmunk hunting while we were there. They were running all over and squeaking and then Miss B. who is half the size of Bob, would come charging off the deck in her little blue hoodie, and try to wrastle them up. Thankfully none were actually captured! We had bbq chicken and sweet corn soaked in a beer brine and roasted herbed potatoes. A perfect meal for a really great day!
