Were happy to announce that with 2014 coming to an end and following six successful months of the Scottish Pathfinder Society, weve decided to try something a little different for 2015. Now that many of you have played through the Shadow Lodge storyline, even joining us for our Year of the Shadow Lodge special, were going to move into Seasons 3, 4, 5 and this years Season 6 of the Organized Play storyline. For those of you that dont know, each Season of Society scenarios focus on a different overarching plot (while still allowing diversity in adventure types and locations). For 2015 each of our GMs is going to take responsibility for running scenarios from a specific plotline/season. This means that if you want, you can follow a specific seasons plot with a character(s) of your choice. Or, if you dont mind, you can jump between plots into adventures that take your fancy. Well still be running scenarios from Season 0, 1 and 2 too, as there is plenty of content there that is appropriate for anyone To give you an idea of what each Season is about, here is a brief overview. Season 3: Year of the Ruby Phoenix - This season focuses around Tian Xia and the Hao Jin Tapestry, an artifact containing an oriental style demiplane. This season has alot of eastern flavor and sees the Society often competing against the Aspis Consortium as they explore the Hao Jin Tapestry. This season will be GMed by Ewan Bowers and Chris Mousdale. Season 4: Year of the Risen Rune - This season focuses around the nation of Varisia and the ancient Thassilon empire. Its a great season to delve into the history of Golarion and one of the most powerful empires to have existed, and sees the Society come up against some deadly cults and learn of the once mighty Runelords. This season will be GMed by Steven Hurley and Ryan Trotter Season 5: Year of the Demon - This recent season focuses around the Society lending their aid to the northern nations of Golarion as they tackle a demonic invasion from the Worldwound. While its a great season for those that love stemming the tides of evil, it also require tact and finesse to recruit allies for the crusade and avoid many of the Societies enemies in the process. This season will be be GMed by Fen McCallum and Chris Stark. Season 6: Year of the Sky Key - The current season is still being released, and is the active storyline. It centers on the famous Dwarven Sky Citadels and the mysterious technology appearing from Numeria, as well as the changes leadership and structure of the Pathfinder Society. Due to a limited number of scenarios, this season will only run occasionally, but will be headed up by Tom Mannering. Of course, none of this is to say any of these GMs are locked into a specific season, or that guest GMs wont dip in and out of a season. It simply means that if youre interested in a specific season, you have an idea who the experts on that season will be.
