Were in South Dakota for the Guam Reunion. Left home yesterday at 5:00 am and drove all day to get here. Staying with friends Mick & Pat Pexa--also friend Zelma Summers is staying here with her sister and husband. Had a great time last night just talking, and enjoying a great meal! Drive here had a few moments. First were the about 30 mosquitos that got in the car with us! :) We eventually got what we thought was the last one, only to have others appear. Did have some deer cross in front of us, of course, but the large black bear that crossed was a rare treat. A not so welcome sight was the large hawk that appeared dropping straight down right in front of us--it hit the road as we hit it--over so fast there was no time to change anything. A bit later, our final crossing was a weasel. Today and tomorrow we get together with all the Guam people. That should be fun--renewing old friendships! Thursday, well be driving all day to get home again. Hope I get some sleep these next couple of days! :)
