Were looking for a BIG vehicle to tow our hybrid trailer. We were looking for a Suburban (used- older) but today a Ford Expedition popped up in the search. So, youre experiences with Fords mechanically??? Ive read/heard about tranny problems with the Fords. Were looking for something in the 2001 - 2006 range to keep the price way down (cash deal) and we dont really care about miles on the odometer because hubby and son have the skills and tools to put in a new engine and/or tranny. The only thing the vehicle will have to do is tow the trailer 4 - 5 times a year and be a very occasional workhorse.
