Were pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 FEMA Individual and Community Preparedness Awards which recognize programs and individuals who have taken action to prepare their communities for disasters and helped to make their communities more resilient. This year, we received more than 230 applications from non-profit, private sector, tribal, community-based organizations, and individuals representing 43 states, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
