Weve got tickets for the Drumhead Service that will take place from 9am on Sunday 10 August at Edinburgh Castle to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War. This multi-faith service will re-enact what would have taken place 100 years ago. After the service a parade will March as to War down the Royal Mile to Holyrood Park. You can join this, if you wish, to the public memorial where youll be able to leave wreaths or commemorative personal markers. If you would like to attend the service please email [email protected] or phone 03451 55 55 55 ext. 44 24 72 by Friday 25th July. Tickets are limited to two per application. Tickets will be posted out so, if emailing, please give the address you want them sent to. Youll need to make your own travel arrangements. Please note that council offices will be closed on Monday 21 July.
