We’re pleased to announced that the Miami Beach API and app has been selected as a 2014 Gold Magellan Award Winner in the Destinations | Mobile App category by Travel Weekly magazine! The 2014 Magellan Awards received entries from top travel organizations and professionals worldwide and we’re told the quality of the work was outstanding. Travel Weekly tells us that being selected a Magellan Award Winner is a tremendous achievement and proves the winner represents a high standard of excellence within the travel industry. Winners will be announced publicly and posted online on Monday - September 15th. At that time, a complete list of winners will be available at travelweeklyawards/winners/. Travel Weekly will also be sending out an official notification and all Magellan Award winners will be highlighted in the October 20th issue of Travel Weekly, which will include a special section dedicated to this year’s winners. In addition to being honored in this special section, we will issue a national press release next month to note the occasion and announce this special distinction. We will also be receiving a statuette and will have a full page ad in Travel Weekly to announce the award. The Miami Beach API and app is the result of so many exceptional designers, technologically advanced coders and business enthusiasts who were eager to offer a top-of-the-line product to travel consumers that was distinct from other app products in the travel space.
