What Elizabeth has said is true. She did NOT make me quit smoking. Yes she hates smoking, and the smell of it. But she knows it has to be my choice to do it. I have several reasons for putting down the smokes. The main reason is that lung cancer took my step-father away from my family before his time. Other reasons are my own health. Smoking has caused major damage to the jaw bones in my mouth. I have to have dental work done and I am loosing ten teeth when it is all said and done and having a partial denture made. But the main reason is because I hate seeing Elizabeth shed tears of worry and sadness when she would smell smoke on me. She wants me to stick around and be here for her and our kids and to keep writing the stories I have to share with all of you. Part of that whole growing old together thing. I want to marry her and be with her forever. Thats worth giving up the smokes. :)
