What Reuben said #UrbanPlannered : I sympathize with those protesting Google Buses. But this attempt at a CEQA lawsuit for a pilot program that involves no construction is an example of why I think CEQA needs to be fixed. CEQA shouldnt be anyones go-to when they just dont like whats going on. Further, a victory on such a suit could jeopardize great public space projects that use the pilot label to get off the shelf more quickly, including the the plaza at Market & Castro in SF, and Sunset Triangle in LA. I think we should ask why Google is only charged $1 per stop per day. I would add a few zeros to that.
