What THE GUARDIAN does not check right now: Its far beyond therapy. Its about a highly psycho -active process of self discovery. Not in the sense of psycho-history. But about sequences of archetypal breakthroughs and coherent cultural nexus too. The work of Grof et al after Jung continue this approach. The work of Jean Houston is abolutrely essential too. And structural work like the work of Clare Graves/Don Beck is widening its complexity towards psycho-social-biological multi-diemensionality. Within the new approach and narrative of BIG HISTORY it will become clear that there is life and future in this work. To be extended and developed FAR BEYOND its founders work. Too precious to leave it to the Jungians. It takes the fresh boldness, robust vitality and readiness of Carl Jung to face the most dangerous and powerful realities within us again. Jung was more an Indiana Jones than a pale pundit. Jung once sat during a diner besides Winston Churchill. He commented: What Churchill did for the outer world was my work for the inner one."
