What a beautiful and inspiring video! This video has a message in it for everyone, but tears came to my eyes thinking about how people with disabiilties will be particularly touched and motivated when watching it. My dear friend T Alika Hickman has survived multiple strokes and brain aneurysms and not allowed it to hold her back in any way. She had to work hard to retrain herself in doing simple things like walking and lifting her arm, and now she is touring the country promoting her book about healthy living, Chemical Suicide and preparing to release a Hip Hop album! She also made the incredible documentary about solutions to problems in the African American community, The 16th Strike Documentary, available to watch free on Vimeo. She is an incredible mother, community leader, Hip-Hop artist, poet, filmmaker, author, model, and outright amazing person. Thank you for continuing to let your light shine, Alika!
