What a change from stormy yesterday!!!... Ill bet we had easily 4 inches of rain...perhaps more! Lost power about 10:45. Flickered, went off, came back,,,went off....came back....and finally stayed off. Meanwhile I am madly trying to shut the computer down but cant do that with no power!! Finally realized it was really off....and black as the inside of a motormans glove, to use an old expression....and started to reach for the flash light, only to realize that it wasnt there. So I started looking for a candle and a lighter....which usually sits at the end of the counter...but wasnt....so I started groping in drawers, finally located one, and lit it and found my phone, which was in the charger...at only 75%, finally groped my way to a couple of candles in a candlestick ( not hard at my house)..looked for my kindle so at least I could read if I couldnt surf....gave up and took my candle up to bed...like Wee Willie Winkie. Woke at 7:30 to a frantic dog, a blaring TV, blazing lights and a counter full of teeny tiny little ants! Did you all survive the deluge?
