What a day!!! So I drop Anna-Grace off at school and went to my dr for a repeat urinalysis to be sure this lay round of antibiotics took care of my infection. ( keep in mind I did NOT take a shower) My infection is gone ... But I still have blood and protein in my urine . My dr consulted a urologist ... Who told her I needed to go have a ct without contrast STAT! I went straight from there to the imaging center.. Had my cr scan and then came home . Was in the door for like 10 minutes before my td called me . The radiologist had called her already and told her they had found a cyst... In my left kidney.. 2.2 cm. and he wanted me to be seen by a urologist stat! This , as you can imagine , had me in a panic!! I then remembered that I had an ultrasound on my back when Anna was just 3 weeks old bc I was having back pain. They discovered a cyst then in my kidney. So... I let them all know that. They mentioned Polycystic kidney disease which is where you have cyst grow randomly in your kidneys! Ugggg. So .. I worried and worried until 1:00 when I was seen by the urologist. . He said the cyst is nothing they worry about .. And theta it had only went from a 1.5 cm to a 2.2 cm in 11 years.. But, he is concerned about the blood in my urine .. Bc that is a sign of bladder cancer . But.. I have been dealing with a uti for months now.. And havent been able to completely get rid of it . So my system is irritated and that could be where the blood is coming from! I go back in 6 weeks . If there is still blood.. He will do a cystoscope in the office that day to look at the inside of my bladder and make sure there are no tumors . Thank you to all that have been praying for me today.. I am EMOTIONALLY DRAINED !!! Please continue to pray that this is all a result of the terrible infection I battled !!
